I've spent the last ten years writing specs. I'm good at it. I can take a rough idea and turn it into a structured plan that engineers can execute on. But I've always had ideas for products in my off hours that I never had the programming skills to build myself. Over the last few months I've been tinkering with claude code and watching what people are building and the FOMO finally got to me. So I took the plunge. That's my resolution for 2026: start building. I'll use this blog to document the journey.
