I gave clawdbot my Mac Mini. It's fine,it was collecting dust anyway.
Safety first: I made sure to set it up with its own accounts, everything sandboxed. I've already got it running on a few workflows. Then I did something a little reckless — for a few hours, I gave it SSH access to my home server and let it handle a setup I'd been putting off for months. Something that would've taken me a few hours going back and forth with chatGPT, it fully executed it in 5 mins. It's the closest thing to magic I've experienced in three years of working with AI.
Of course I'm not an idiot, I revoked the access after. Prompt injection is a very real risk. But still. 2026 is off to a wild start. I get to talk to my computer.
